1. Passion: identify what excites you, what enthuses you. identify who suffocates your dream. identify in whose presence you lose heart.
  • sounds are so important. identify the sounds you like and put them around you. birds singing? water falls?
  • if you don't like complainers, decide where they'll be and decide that they won't be around you
  • have you decided what you like to hear, and have you invested in putting those sounds around you. in life there is no party, you are the party, and if you are not jumping, it is because you are not playing the right music
  • passion is a success necessity. passion is more important than money because if you have passion you can create any financial life you want
  • if someone attacks your passion, drains your joy, they are an adversary. they might smile but they are your adversary. who is messing with your passion?
  • protect your passion. don't spend time with people that drain your passion: your passion for God, your passion for life, your passion for your future. you are going to have to fight for your passion. don't let anybody mess with your passion
  • if you really want something to happen decide that it will happen; whether or not they say something to discourage you like, "it'll cost you more...blah blah"
  • do what you have a passion for. don't teach what you don't have a passion for.
  • to protect your passion, you'll have to find your comfort zone, your comfort cirlce: someone who isn't trying to dismantle your dream. they don't create the burden of response, they are not stressful to you
  • wisdom is the ability to discern difference in people. people bring different things to your life. discern those who are a comfort circle
  • if someone doesn't like you, it's because they don't discern and celebrate your difference
  • what are you doing about your passion?
  • don't engage in conversations with people with whom when you talk to them, it feels as if they are pouring water on your dreams
  • learn to encourage yourself; David learned how to encourage yourself. You decide your success. you don't need other people to encourage you
  • what words do you like to hear.
  • God gave us His words so we would develop skills at talking to ourselves.
  • don't mess with your passion. sculpt an environment...every home should have songs of worship going on in your homes all day long
  • thoughts have a presence. assess an environment before you enter it and try to change it
  • you cannot help anyone who will not listen to you
  • you can't make anybody love you. they either love you or they don't. if they don't gather your honour and leave. cos there is somebody waiting for you. go where you are celebrated instead of where you are tolerated.
  • don't think less of yourself simply because someone doesn't respond. don't cook the third meal when they haven't eaten the first meal. don't try to grow fruit in wrong soil, cos someone is waiting for you
  • get real serious about your passion, identify why it is dying and find out who is killing it
2. Reactions
  • wisdom can be picked up, assessed through reactions. that's how we know someone has wisdom, based on their reactions
  • what is your reaction to greatness? if you go into a restaurant and a world class achiever is in that restaurant. do you pick up the tab? do you leave them a note? do you acknowledge their greatness?
  • if you were to meet a great person what questions do you ask? how did you do it? how did you accomplish it? Do you try to extract wisdom from them? do you allow them to be your mentor?
  • how do you react to the presence of God. when you are dating somebody, ask yourself, what is their reaction to God's presence. if you get someone in God's presence, they can change but if they wouldn't even get in God's presence, they can't change; that's the best they'll ever be
  • if we don't continually go into God's presence, we have the capacity to deterioriate.
  • what is your reaction to correction? if you open the door for correction, you remove all the pain from correction.
  • correction is different from criticism; criticism diminishes your influence. whomever you criticize will stop listening to you. make gentle corrections: "that's good. and here's another thought...."
  • people who really love you want you to succeed and will go to any length to help you succeed
  • what is your reaction to correction? what is your reaction to a mistake? the diff between success and failure is correction.
  • how do you open the door for correction: "I have this idea, if it's not a good idea shoot it down".
  • Don't be afraid to be corrected, it is part of the price of becoming.
  • your wisdom will depend on your ability to receive correction
  • it is dangerous if the people who love you stop correcting you.
  • you don't teach people who need you, you teach people who heed you; invest where you see change
  • Invest where you see change
  • put as little money as possible in a bank; try to change it into value: gold bars etc
  • How do you react to a loss? Hold loosely to the things of this world. Let other people have the gifts they take, you still have the Giver. and as long as you have the Giver, every good and perfect gift comes from the Lord.
  • May you never have anything God didn't give you; You don't want anything God didn't give you. if God doesn't give you something, it's cos it'll be a tragedy for your future. But don't let satan take away anything God gave you. Fight to keep what God has given you.
  • Even evil people, like a delilah put a value on a samson. may you never have anything God didn't give you
  • even if satan took it, the same God who gave you your life can give you what you need to live this life.
  • the same God who gave you one idea, can give you many more ideas
  • those assigned to stay in your life cannot leave. those who hate your passions, ministry cannot wait to leave. but there are people who cannot stay away from you because they know your value, they know your difference
  • Read Mike Murdock's book: The Law of Recognition: there is something you're not seeing, and it is costing you.
  • you haven't seen or known 1% of 1% of 1% of what God has in store for you...eye hath not seen nor ear heard.
  • God hides beauty under ugly so that persistence will be rewarded; nothing is ever as it first appears
  • if you feel like u r a push over take that ugliness off and realise that God put graciousness in you; if you feel like u have an anger problem, take off that ugliness and realise that God put passion in you.
  • Single people: satan will introduce a counterfeit to you, a decoy. you don't want anybody God didn't bring to you. you don't want people who bring themselves to you either. don't you let anybody else tell you whom God has chosen for you. Let the spirit of God confirm it to you.
  • Let the man do the choosing. You don't want a man so stupid he can't hear God's voice.
  • You want someone who know the voice of the Spirit, who can talk to God for you; who can communicate
  • Avoid guys who are deceptive, liars. You want one in which what he says with his mouth is what he feels in his heart. You want someone who excels in honour; someone who knows how to talk to you, talk to others.
  • Every future has a price

    • The purpose of wisdom is to know what decisions should I make. My decisions decide my stress, my joy, my strength. The Bible is a book about decisions
    • I cannot change your life until I change who you trust. When I know the voice that you trust, I can predict the quality of your decisions.
    • Your words are powerful. Every morning when you wake up, prophesy to your day. Tell your day how it will serve you
    • Words are so important. God runs His world with His words.
    • Silence can easily be misinterpreted. not misquoted, misinterpreted. One of the key subjects of proverbs is words.
    • Every single heart ache can be traced to words. You need to prophesy to your mouth to speak good words, God's Words.
    • Girls, always look at how a guy treats his mother. You want to know because your mother is the one that teaches you how to treat women.
    • It is not God's decision to make you successful, it is your decision. Joshua 1:7-8: God says you would make your way successful: it is your decision to not look to the right or to the left but decide what is worthy of your total energy
    • Develop a purposeful life. decide what is worthy of your total energy.
    • Success is the obtaining of a worthy goal.
    • Every conversation creates a product. conversations decide the quality of your life. conversations decide your future. conversations contain hidden secrets. In Deuteronomy 4:36: God says I created you to hear my voice, for conversation
    • Prosperity is having enough provision to complete your divine assignment and it is connected to obedience: ( provision is more than a money word. it includes energy, money, favour, courage, faith)
    • Everything created solves a problem -- your assignment
    • whatever you've used your heart for is a picture of what you've used your life for
    • The Bible is not a book about destiny alone. it is a book about the quality of your decisions. who have you chosen to ignore? cos there are some people who you should ignore. are you listening to the wrong people
    • you are listening to the wrong people if you lose your joy, lose your energy after listening to them
    • Wisdom is the ability to discern difference. diff in people, diff in a countenance, diff in function, diff in a moment. If you unwrap moments and discern the divine deposit that makes that moment distinctively different, that moment will smile on you.
    • Wisdom is the ability to discern your diff from others. God doesn't make two of anything. market that  difference because your success is in your difference from others. What do you love to talk about? what do you love to learn about? shat do you love to think about? what are your dominant skills? what are you able to endure that others can't endure? Are you celebrating the difference in others around you
    • Honour is the ability to celebrate the difference in others around you
    • your difference will be what brings streams of honour to you. you may not have been able to identify your diff because you've become obsessed with your weakness. what you focus on becomes bigger. what ever gets your attention becomes bigger. God gave you a mouth to downsize your experience
    • the purpose of wisdom is to know whom to honour.
    • Your future will be decided by who you have chosen to honour
    • tone talks, countenance speaks.
    • God speaks more than anyone you've met
    • Joy is the reward for identifying the distinctive deposit that God placed in a moment; wisdom is the ability to discern moments

      • Desire is not love; finding someone desirable is not loving them
      • the greatest most important quality of the Christian is the ability to love; love is more than sweet words.
      • desire, someone's attractiveness to us is not love
      • if you have to explain love, it is not love; love is something so phenomenal that you can't explain it
      • there's is different kinds of love: eros - sexual love. etc.
      • the feeling of being loved is not love; enjoying someone's presence, humour is not love.
      John 13:34-35:
      • God's love for us is not nearly as important as our love for God. The purpose of His love for us is to enable us to love Him back; and that's where the rewards begin. Jesus loves the 2 theives on the cross, but only one went to heaven. God's love for us gives us access, but does not create change. It is our love for God that births change.
      • it will take God to start the river of love flowing in you, and to keep it going
      • Everything that looks like love isn't love
      • 1 John 2:3, 5: love is not hugging or kissing or stroking; our love is not because we carry a Bible or lift up hands; we love God is we keep His commandments
      1 John 3:14-18; 24; 1 John 4:7, 10-12:
      • love is not attractiveness, it is a decision to place great value on the needs of another
      Proofs of Love

1.The willingness to listen; listen with interest. anytime anyone talks to you, bring all of you into that moment.

      2. The passion to pleasure another person: different from lust - lust is the desire to extract pleasure from another person; love is a passion to pleasure another person. what does this person love, what do they enjoy.
      • Who have you decided to host on the earth? whose comfort has become your passion?
      • your discomfort is a conversation; and if someone loves you, they discern your discomfort. they don't only pick it up but they desire to pleasure you.
      • How do you know if someone love you: their passion to provide you something you need
      3. Your ability to adapt: when you love someone, there is a remarkable skill to adapt to changes, unexpected requests.
      • the willingness to adapt, the capability to adapt to an immediate need
      4. A relentless desire to protect:

5: The proof of love is the investment of time: you will spend time with people we love the most

6: The willingness to define your expectations:
      • love creates expectations because you've invested yourself, your emotions in that person
      • you have to create expectations when you're dating; even God's love has expectations otherwise there will be no hell
      7. The willingness to give the gift of correction:
      • correction is a gift;
      • correcting someone when they are making a mistake diminishes a painful experience
      • stopping their pain should be more important than them feeling you love them; if you love someone you won't allow someone to continue to destroy their lives
      • don't date someone to change them; you can't fall in love with the wrong person, with someone who is going to destroy your life.
      8. The proof of love is in the swiftness to forgive:
      • we should be swift to forgive because it will require a lot of mercy
      • it should be hard to be someone's friend, because it should require qualification. Being friendly is not the same as being friendly
      • God's mercy is proportional to the mercy we extend. we forgive, because we will require forgiveness. it took Mike Murdock a quarter of a century to realise this.
      • when we forgive others, we are able to accept the forgiveness of God.
      • Forgiving someone doesn't mean you trust them. trust is something you build up. you don't have to qualify to being forgiven; trust is something you qualify for

Relationship between getting into God's presence and the tabernacle of Moses
      1. Enter with praise : the gates of the tabernacle
      2. Confess your sins, present yourself as a living sacrifice: the altar of the tabernacle
      3. Read the Word of God: the word of God washes us at the laver
      4. The Word of God becomes Spirit and Life at the table of show bread and the lamp stand: the scripture becomes reality; all thoughts become subject to the Word of God; His mind becomes our mind
      5. The minute the Word of God becomes life, intercession hits your spirit, without you even asking for it. At the laver, the Word of God washes you, but at the lamp stand, it becomes prayer

      • When you look at the bible you see three words: wisdom, decisions, rewards: Proverbs 4:7; Deut 5:28,29
      1. You must protect your passion
      • Identify sources of inspiration: what inspires you? what inspires you may not inspire another. so what? you find what inspires you and stay in the center of your passion
      • what energizes you? who energizes you? see yourself like a bank...some people make only withdrawals
      2. Reactions
      • what is your reaction to honor? to correction? to an opportunity? to an invitation?
      • reactions reveal what is inside your character

      3. Relationships
      • You find the snakes you kill them. Relationships are built, they are not created, they are built; love is something you build
      • relationships are growable if there is integrity, discernment and you distinguish the divine purpose of a relationship
      • there are friendships that you can go only one storey; there are others you can go two storeys with; others you can build a skyscraper with

      • It takes 30mins to 2 hours for fruit to digest; but pork stays undigested in your system for 14 days
      • Never put in front of you what doesn't belong in you

      • Don't look to the right or to the left (Joshua); focus
      • what gets your focus; what keeps your interest
      • it is important for you to discover what keeps your divine focus
      • why do you keep doing what you do when others don't care? it's because of what you know (the Bible's principles; we know the power of the gospel; the power of the Word of God; the capability of God to change)
      • Don't you ever underestimate the integrity or might of the God you work for.
      • The only reason people fail is broken focus; keep your focus. What has the ability to keep your focus. Stay focused on your assignment
      • The only reason you will fail is if something breaks your focus
      • Keep pictures of your future focused in front of you
      8. Decisions
      • Who have you decided to ignore? who have you decided to listen to? who have you decided to learn from? who have you decided not to learn from?
      • what decisions have created your losses?
      • what have you decided to learn with your time
      • what would you do if you knew you had one day left? who would you teach?
      • Every mother and father should make a decision to be the dominant voice in their kids life
      • what have you decided to stop doing? what will you do differently
      • The reason God's expectation is so high of you is because He knows what He puts in you. He stored hidden gifts in you. What God put in you, you haven't even begun to discover
      • You've spent your whole life staring at your weakness, instead of your difference
      • if you will invest time to look at your difference from others, not resent it, not explain it to everybody, but build your future based on your difference
