In the fear of the LORD there is strong confidence
And His children will have a place of refuge
The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life
To turn one away from the snares of death
-Prov 14:26-27

But the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD
He is their strength in the time of trouble
And the LORD shall help them and deliver them
He shall deliver them from the wicked
And save them, because they trust in Him
-Psalm 37:39-40

Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright
For the future of that man is peace
- psalm 37:37

Even when we have failed God and bear the consequences of our disobedience, God does not condemn us.

The LORD will not leave him in his hand (the hand of the wicked)
Nor condemn him when he is judged - psalm 37:33

I have been young and now am old
Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken
nor his descendants begging bread. - psalm 37:25

The LORD loves justice
And does not forsake His saints
They are preserved forever. - psalm 37:28

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD
and He delights in his way
though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast dowm
for the LORD upholds him with His hand. - psalm 37:24

The upright "shall not be ashamed in the evil time,
and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied" -Psalm 37:19

When the devil tries to make you doubt and question whether God will give you your desires, use Psalm 37: 4 as a weapon:

Delight yourself also in the LORD
And He shall give you the desires of your heart

I sought the LORD and He heard me
And delivered me from all my fears.
-Psalm 34:4

When the devil tells you you can't make it because you don't have the right skills, qualifications etc, remind him that the Word of God says:

No king is saved by the multitude of an army
A mighty man is not delivered by great strength
A horse is a vain hope for safety
Neither shall it deliver any by its great strength.

BUT...

Behold the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him
On those who hope in His mercy
To deliver their soul from death
And to keep them alive in famine.
Our soul waits on the LORD
He is our help and our shield

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will guide you with My eye.
-Psalm 32:8

The story of blind Bartimaeus highlights two important things about his faith:

1. He wouldn't let people stop him or keep him from pursuing his dream.
2. Regardless of how daunting reaching out to God seemed, he cried out to God to save him
3. He wouldn't stop crying out to God to save him, until God saved him

 1 & 2:  Jesus was passing by with a great multitude. a great multitude. imagine the noise and how difficult it must have been to get Jesus' attention. but Bartimaeus cried out to Jesus to save him. Even when people warned him to be quiet, and tried to dissuade him from pursuing his dream, Bartimaeus wouldn't let up. In fact, he was so desperate for God to hear him and answer his prayer that Bartimaeus wouldn't quit hollering and yelling and crying out to God to save him until "Jesus stood still" (Mark 10:49).

Bartimaeus cried out to Jesus until Jesus heard him, stood still and answered his prayer. What will it take to stop you? What will it take to stop you from asking until you receive, from seeking until you find, from knocking until the Almighty God opens the door?

Will it be people's reactions or opinions of you and your dream and your faith in God? Or will it be Jesus seeming silence?

Don't stop until Jesus stands still.

Though the devil may "lie in wait for blood" proverbs 12:6
"The mouth of the upright", i.e. speaking God's Word "will deliver them" proverbs 12:6

Psalm 28:7

the LORD is my strength and my shield. My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices and with my song I will praise Him

Psalm 27:13-14

I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait I say on the LORD

Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.

- Matthew 18:19

And those who know Your name will put their trust in You
For You, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You
-Psalm 9:10

The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed
A refuge in times of trouble.
