When the devil tells you you can't make it because you don't have the right skills, qualifications etc, remind him that the Word of God says:
No king is saved by the multitude of an army
A mighty man is not delivered by great strength
A horse is a vain hope for safety
Neither shall it deliver any by its great strength.
BUT...
Behold the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him
On those who hope in His mercy
To deliver their soul from death
And to keep them alive in famine.
Our soul waits on the LORD
He is our help and our shield

The story of blind Bartimaeus highlights two important things about his faith:
- He wouldn't let people stop him or keep him from pursuing his dream.
- Regardless of how daunting reaching out to God seemed, he cried out to God to save him
- He wouldn't stop crying out to God to save him, until God saved him
1 & 2: Jesus was passing by with a great multitude. a great multitude. imagine the noise and how difficult it must have been to get Jesus' attention. but Bartimaeus cried out to Jesus to save him. Even when people warned him to be quiet, and tried to dissuade him from pursuing his dream, Bartimaeus wouldn't let up. In fact, he was so
desperate for God to hear him and answer his prayer that Bartimaeus wouldn't quit hollering and yelling and crying out to God to save him until "Jesus stood still" (Mark 10:49).
Bartimaeus cried out to Jesus until Jesus heard him, stood still and answered his prayer. What will it take to stop
you? What will it take to stop you from asking until you receive, from seeking until you find, from knocking until the Almighty God opens the door?
Will it be people's reactions or opinions of you and your dream and your faith in God? Or will it be Jesus seeming silence?
Don't stop until Jesus stands still.
