Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]

What does it mean to come? that word 'come' haunted me for days, and then like a million stars bursting, He spoke to me. When you come to someone what are you doing:

You are in their presence, looking at their face, listening for their voice, for their direction, for what they have to say.When God says 'come', He is saying: are you weary? come. spend time with Me. don't run around trying to solve it on your own. come. spend time with Me, listen for My direction. be in My presence

Numbers 17-24 Balaam returned and found him stationed beside his Whole-Burnt-Offering and the nobles of Moab with him. Balak said to him, "What did God say?" Then Balaam spoke his message-oracle:

   On your feet, Balak. Listen,
      listen carefully son of Zippor:
   God is not man, one given to lies,
      and not a son of man changing his mind.
   Does he speak and not do what he says?
      Does he promise and not come through?
   I was brought here to bless;
      and now he's blessed—how can I change that?
   He has no bone to pick with Jacob,
      he sees nothing wrong with Israel.
   God is with them,
      and they're with him, shouting praises to their King.
   God brought them out of Egypt,
      rampaging like a wild ox.
   No magic spells can bind Jacob,
      no incantations can hold back Israel.
   People will look at Jacob and Israel and say,
      "What a great thing has God done!"
   Look, a people rising to its feet, stretching like a lion,
      a king-of-the-beasts, aroused,
   Unsleeping, unresting until its hunt is over
      and it's eaten and drunk its fill.

Psalm 94

 1 O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongs—
         O God, to whom vengeance belongs, shine forth!
 2 Rise up, O Judge of the earth;
         Render punishment to the proud.
 3 LORD, how long will the wicked,
         How long will the wicked triumph?

 4 They utter speech, and speak insolent things;
         All the workers of iniquity boast in themselves.
 5 They break in pieces Your people, O LORD,
         And afflict Your heritage.
 6 They slay the widow and the stranger,
         And murder the fatherless.
 7 Yet they say, “The LORD does not see,
         Nor does the God of Jacob understand.”

 8 Understand, you senseless among the people;
         And you fools, when will you be wise?
 9 He who planted the ear, shall He not hear?
         He who formed the eye, shall He not see?
     -- God hears our prayers and He sees
 10 He who instructs the nations, shall He not correct,
         He who teaches man knowledge?
 11 The LORD knows the thoughts of man,
         That they are futile.

 12 Blessed is the man whom You instruct, O LORD,
         And teach out of Your law,
 13 That You may give him rest from the days of adversity,
  -- God will give me rest in adversity
         Until the pit is dug for the wicked.
 14 For the LORD will not cast off His people,
         Nor will He forsake His inheritance.
 15 But judgment will return to righteousness,
         And all the upright in heart will follow it.

 16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers?
         Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
 17 Unless the LORD had been my help,
         My soul would soon have settled in silence.
 18 If I say, “My foot slips,”
         Your mercy, O LORD, will hold me up.
 19 In the multitude of my anxieties within me,   --
God quiets my soul and delivers me         Your comforts delight my soul.

 20 Shall the throne of iniquity, which devises evil by law,
         Have fellowship with You?
 21 They gather together against the life of the righteous,
         And condemn innocent blood.
 22 But the LORD has been my defense,
         And my God the rock of my refuge.

 23 He has brought on them their own iniquity,
         And shall cut them off in their own wickedness;
         The LORD our God shall cut them off.

21. Then I realized that my heart was bitter,
      and I was all torn up inside.
 22 I was so foolish and ignorant—
      I must have seemed like a senseless animal to you.
 23 Yet I still belong to you;
      you hold my right hand.
 24 You guide me with your counsel,
      leading me to a glorious destiny.
 25 Whom have I in heaven but you?
      I desire you more than anything on earth.
