Blessings and Promises of Fasting
Seeker
  1. God will direct you: Isaiah 30:21
  2. Your light will rise in obscurity and your darkness will be as the noonday: Isaiah 58:10-12
  3. God will hear and answer your prayers: Isaiah 58:9
  4. God will be your rearguard: Isaiah 52:12; Isaiah 54:17
  5. Your righteousness will go before you and God will open doors for you: Isaiah 58:8
  6. God will bring health and healing: Isaiah 58:8
  7. God will bring illumination to your life as a child of God and increase your influence; we are the light of the world: Isaiah 58:8-9; Matt 5:14
  8. Fasting will break poverty. Solomon humbled himself with prayer and fasting (1 Kings 3:10-13); Daniel fasted and was given wisdom and greatly prospered in the days of Darius the king (Dan 6:1-4)
Fasting will bring you into destiny. Fasting will bring you into alignment with God's plan for your life.
